Dear Members of the Fairview Freewill Baptist Church Family,
As we approach the most wonderful time of the year, our hearts are filled with joy and anticipation as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Christmas is a time of great rejoicing—a time to reflect on the miraculous gift of God’s love and grace, embodied in the humble birth of His Son.
The story of Christmas is one of hope, love, and redemption. It is a story that reminds us of the incredible lengths to which God went to reconcile humanity to Himself—to send His only Son into the world, not as a conquering king, but as a vulnerable baby born in a manger, surrounded by love and humility.
As we gather with family and friends to celebrate Christmas, let us not lose sight of the true meaning of this sacred season. Let us remember that Jesus is the reason for our joy and celebration—that His birth heralded the beginning of a new era of hope and salvation for all who believe.
Let us also take this opportunity to share the love and joy of Christ with those around us—to reach out to the lonely, the hurting, and the marginalized, and to extend the message of God’s love and grace to all. For Christmas is not just a time for receiving, but also a time for giving—to give of ourselves, our time, and our resources in service to others.
As we gather together in worship and fellowship this Christmas, may our hearts be filled with gratitude for the incredible gift of God’s love. May we embrace the true spirit of Christmas—of love, peace, and goodwill toward all—and may the joy of Christ’s birth fill our hearts and homes with warmth and light.
